How to Download

Android

You can download the Android app from the Google Play store here.

Apple iOS

There are two steps to downloading the beta version of Trees for Bees:

  1. Download TestFlight from the Apple Store here. TestFlight is an app made by Apple to allow you to test in-development apps.
  2. Once you have TestFlight installed on your device, click here to download the Trees for Bees app.

  • Removed non-functional button on History page
  • Updated functionality of delete button on History page – now deletes all .obs files as well as the ObservableCollection, and is only active if there is more than one save file.

  • Fixed an issue with the upload system caused by third-party updates to ContactForm7
  • Fixed a bug that could cause crashes when uploading on Android devices
  • Added a descriptive sentence to the observation screen
  • Fixed button sizes on the map
  • Web links now launch on the system browser outside of the app

  • Map system amended to focus more easily when searching for a tree.

  • Added a system to click through to observe trees from the Map screen

Changes for version 2.1.1 (16 February 2024)

  • History page now automatically updates with pollinator and observation totals, shows all visits, upload check must be manual

  • Fixed an issue where the app could crash if unable to upload visit data.
  • Introduced an interactive map feature
  • Migrated to .NET 8 allowing for a smoother backend experience
